Delegate Registration Categories & Fees
Registration for the Main Scientific Congress, taking place from 28-30 July 2027 at The Civic Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos, Nigeria, is available across four professional categories. Nigerian, international low- and middle-income, and high-income registration rates are outlined below.
Deadline: 30 January 2027
Register by the early-bird deadline to benefit from the lower registration fees.
From 1 February 2027
Late-registration fees are 25% higher than the corresponding early-bird rates. Submissions after 30 January are subject to the increased fees.
Consultants, Senior Specialists & Professors
For consultant surgeons, senior medical specialists, senior clinical practitioners, professors and established senior healthcare professionals.
Junior Doctors, Residents & Fellows
For junior medical doctors, residents, postgraduate clinical trainees and fellows undertaking professional or specialist training.
Nurses, Allied Health Professionals & Researchers
For perioperative and specialist nurses, surgical technologists, allied healthcare professionals, clinical researchers and other multidisciplinary practitioners.
Undergraduate Students
For currently enrolled undergraduate students in medicine, nursing, allied health sciences, biomedical sciences and other relevant academic disciplines. Student status may require verification.

What Main Congress Registration Includes

Important Registration Information: The published fees apply to the Main Scientific Congress only. Nigerian and international delegates should select the appropriate country and professional fee category and provide accurate professional information. The early-bird deadline is 30 January 2027. Registration Confirmation
Once payment has been received and verified, the Secretariat will issue an official registration confirmation by email.
Payment Arrangements
Payment instructions are provided individually following registration review. Please use only the official payment details issued by the Congress Secretariat.
Nigerian Delegates
Delegates registering under the Nigerian fee category will receive payment instructions for a designated local bank account. Payment should be made using the reference or instructions provided by the Congress Secretariat to facilitate verification.
International Delegates
Delegates registering under the international fee category will receive a dedicated online payment link from the Congress Secretariat, together with the applicable payment instructions.
Invoices Available Upon Request
Delegates requiring an invoice for personal, institutional or employer-sponsored payment should indicate this on the registration form. Where requested, an invoice will be prepared using the billing information supplied. An invoice is not automatically issued for every registration.
Important Payment & Confirmation Notice
Submission of the registration form and receipt of an automated acknowledgement do not constitute confirmed Congress registration. Registration is confirmed only after the applicable payment has been received and verified by the organisers. Delegates are advised not to transfer funds to any account or payment destination other than those officially communicated by the Congress Secretariat.

Early-Bird Registration
Deadline: 30 January 2027Delegates are encouraged to register early to benefit from the published early-bird registration rates. Early-bird registration closes on 30 January 2027.
Late Registration
From 1 February 2027Late registration rates will apply from 1 February 2027, with a 25% increase over the corresponding early-bird fee. Registrations submitted after the early-bird deadline, including 31 January 2027, will be subject to the late-registration rate.
Late Registration Fee Increase
All delegate registration categories will attract a 25% increase over the published early-bird fees after the early-bird registration deadline. Register early to secure the lower registration rate.
Registration Categories & Eligibility
Delegates must select the registration category that accurately reflects their current professional or academic status. The Congress Secretariat may request supporting documentation where necessary to verify eligibility for a particular registration category.
Student Registration
Undergraduate student registration is reserved for eligible students currently enrolled in recognised educational institutions. Valid student identification or proof of enrolment may be requested before registration is confirmed.
Payment & Registration Confirmation
Registration requests are acknowledged automatically following submission. Payment instructions will subsequently be issued by the Congress Secretariat. Registration is confirmed only after the applicable fee has been received and payment verified.
Invoices & Institutional Payments
Delegates requiring an invoice for employer-sponsored, institutional or personal payment should indicate this when completing the registration form. Invoices will be issued upon request using the billing information provided.
Pre-Congress Training
Optional Pre-Congress Skills & Training activities scheduled for 27 July 2027 require separate registration and payment. Participation in these activities is not included in the Main Congress registration fee. Course availability and participation requirements may vary.
Invited Faculty & Sponsored Delegates
Invited speakers, faculty members and delegates supported through confirmed sponsorship arrangements may be subject to separate registration procedures.
Cancellation, Refunds & Registration Changes
Delegates who need to cancel their attendance, request a registration change or enquire about a refund should contact the Congress Secretariat before making arrangements. Applicable conditions will be communicated by the organisers. Registration changes are not automatically approved by submitting a request.
